 Legislator Comments from 2009

"The nonprofit sector is large, diverse, and critically important to Montana’s economy and to building vibrant communities. They are particularly significant in the challenging economic climate we face today."

House Speaker Bob Bergren
D-Havre

"Nonprofits embody the best attributes of humanity – tirelessly championing the causes that make us better as a society. And, as a credit to their mission, it’s wonderful to see so many people taking the time to make their voices heard at the Capitol.

Sen. John Brueggeman
R-Polson

Member Comments from 2009

"Thank you for the good job you are doing in helping get all us Nonprofits up, running, & more efficient. I appreciated the opportunity to meet others and to learn from the collective wisdom & energy. I was able to talk to some of the legislators from my county, and that always helps the cause. The presenters of the workshop were first class - a delight to learn from and very inspirational to encourage us on our way. Thanks again.”

Pam Cornelius
Farm in the Dell, Great Falls

“Thank you very much. Everyone was very nice, professional and as my first encounter with the MNA group, I was impressed enough to look for more information and activities you will be offering in the future to attend. Thank you!”

Sandra Germann
Montana 4-H Foundation

"Once again, a fine day. The morning at the Rotunda is probably the most valuable just for networking with other NPs and sharing information and news.”
