Training opportunities support MNA's Principles and Practices for Nonprofit Excellence in Montana. MNA members receive a discount on all MNA trainings.

Submitting a training opportunity: 

We at the Montana Nonprofit Association welcome information regarding high quality training opportunities relevant to nonprofit organizations for our online training calendar. We prefer that training opportunities be submitted by member organizations and if possible, that a discounted rate be made available to MNA nonprofit members.

To submit an event, please email MNA Communications Manager, Tina Bateman-Schlepp. In your email, include: event title, location, time, hyperlink, and a brief description.

Survival Skills for the Nonprofit Leader Program

Survival Skills for the Nonprofit Leader is a short-term low impact manager training program for managers and supervisors working for nonprofit organizations. Classes begin Wednesday September 13th and take place one afternoon each month for five months and are designed to help individuals develop the skills and knowledge necessary to be an effective nonprofit manager. Students will learn about nonprofit management, leadership, ethics, financial operations, and laws and regulations pertaining to nonprofit governance. Students will benefit from instruction by MSUB faculty and from nonprofit leaders who bring their day in, day out experiences to the learning process.
