Program Description
MNA endorses Monitor Liability Managers, Inc.* as it's preferred provider of Directors and Officers Liability Insurance. Protecting your organization from management and employment practices liability through Directors and Officers insurance is important for today's nonprofits. Montana’s Immunity Law (MCA 27-1-732) is often cited as a rationale for not carrying D&O Insurance, but it does not protect your organization from legal action or from incurring expenses related to legal defense. MNA's enhanced D&O program provides among the broadest coverage available on the market and includes coverage for employment practices liability, personal injury, defense costs outside the policy limits, third party liability, and more. Coverage is available for most non-medical organizations. Premiums will vary depending on total assets, number of employees, and activities of the nonprofit. In addition, Crime Insurance and Fiduciary Liability Insurance policies are available.
Eligibility
To participate in the MNA enhanced D&O program, your organization must be a 501(c)(3) and a member of MNA.
Getting Started
The MNA D&O Program is administered in-state by brokers at Payne Financial Group, Inc. To obtain a quote, contact Jodi Harper or download a
questionnaire form, complete and send it to Jodi at Payne Financial Group, her fax is 406-245-9887. In most instances, you will receive a D&O quote within 48 hours of your request.
