Democracy in Action

Program Description
DemocracyInAction.org was born out of the notion that online advocacy tools are a force that organizations can use to create social change and should be accessible to those with an interest in building a more civil society.  DemocracyInAction provides a full suite of online organizing tools, called Salsa, to help you build awareness and mobilize members and supporters and keep them engaged.  Their technology was specifically designed to help organizations engage their members and supporters more efficiently and effectively. The services are web-based, don't require any technical expertise, and are designed to integrate easily with web publication systems and offline databases.  Salsa has everything you need to create campaigns, send timely alerts and newsletters, get real-time reports and inspire grassroots action.  DemocracyInAction has three tiers of tools and resources available to nonprofits.
