MNA Flip Video Program
Program Description
With 2 billion viewers per day, YouTube has become the 4th largest website in the world and the second largest search site after Google. Video is a powerful way to show your organization's impact and needs. With a designated "nonprofit channel" on YouTube, you can deliver your message to the world's largest online video community. Video is also an important part of your website or blog content. YouTube and other video sharing sites such as Vimeo allow you to easily embed your video on your website (see example here). If you do not have access to a video camera and would like to experiment with video as a way to share your mission and impact with the world, sign up to borrow an MNA Flip camera and get started.
Member Benefit
Through our Flip video program, MNA members can check out one of our Flip video cameras to try your hand at creating videos. First, decide what you want your video to do - do you want to tell the world about your organanization in general, talk about your programs, or interview the people you serve/work with? Next, contact MNA to use a Flip camera, shoot your video, and then return the camera. MNA will upload your video to our YouTube channel and share it with the world.
If you have your own camera or already have videos about your organization, let us know, and we will help get the word out by sharing them on our site or featuring it as our "Video of the Month" (see right sidebar) in the MNA eNewsletter - MTc3 .
Eligibility
To participate in the MNA Flip Video program, your organization must be a 501(c)(3), and a member of MNA.
