Hello! I’m Tylyn Newcomb and I’m thrilled to join Team MNA as it’s new Membership Manager.

I grew up in Denton, MT and after a year of university split between the east coast and London, England, I decided to head home where I could see the mountains. At the University of Montana I took whatever classes sounded interesting and ended up with a bachelor’s degree in German Language & Literature and minors in Nonprofit Administration, International Development, and Communication Studies (I took a lot of classes). After graduating I worked with Western Montana CSPD for a year before being awarded a Fulbright Grant to teach English in Germany. Upon returning to Missoula I spent two years fundraising in the world of Zero Waste and sustainability while working at Home ReSource.

Outside of work I enjoy traveling locally and internationally with my partner, reading, eating burritos, going to Costco, picking up various creative hobbies for a few months at a time, and not finishing shows on Netflix.

I am really excited to be at MNA and to have the opportunity to work with organizations across our great state. I love learning about the work nonprofits are doing and I hope to truly be a resource for you all as you work within your communities.
