Director of Nonprofit Innovation
MNA is creating the Nonprofit Innovation LAB (Learn, Adapt, Breakthrough) to direct innovation and process improvement toward some of the most pressing administrative challenges nonprofits face. The LAB will serve as a nucleus for exploring and deploying products and creative processes which radically increase nonprofit administrative efficiencies. The Director of Nonprofit Innovation will function as the LAB director. The ideal person will be a creative thinker who can balance curiosity and ambiguity with developing and scaling successful strategies on the other. In addition to generating and curating innovative solutions, the individual will support implementation, helping nonprofit leaders learn about and adopt new practices. The Director of Nonprofit Innovation will explore ideas through a broad, far-reaching lens that reaches across multiple sectors, while executing solutions in the context of the nonprofit industry, the variety of business models that exist in the sector, and the orientation of nonprofit leaders toward social impact. As a member of a small but mighty team with the Montana Nonprofit Association, the Director of Nonprofit Innovation’s responsibilities will extend from strategy and idea generation to hands-on implementation and all points in between.
