This portion of the training session will focus on review of the four major safety management system components: Safety Policy, Safety Risk Management, Safety Assurance and Safety Promotion. We will review what these system components are and how these components can improve your overall safety culture, reduce injuries and increase employee engagement.
This session will review workers compensation coverage, we will review high level information regarding policy premium calculations, claim reporting and discuss some best practices that can assist employers in understanding how the system works and how best to navigate the system.
This portion of the training will review return to work. Items of note will include, why a return to work program is important to have, how lack of a return to work program effects your premium, how to put a return to work program in place and resources that you can utilize to assist you moving forward.
