The O.P. and W.E. Edwards Foundation with Sara Urbanik
The Foundation bears the name of twin brothers, Oliver Pearl Edwards and William Earl Edwards and was originally incorporated in New York in 1962 as the O.P. Edwards Foundation. It became a 501(c)(3) organization in 1964. We make grants to non-profit organizations for general, program or scholarship support of their work with low‐income, at‐risk, underserved youth and children. We may provide limited support for quality improvement, capacity building and advocacy for these organizations either directly or through intermediaries.
All sessions will be recorded and available for registered attendees to access, along with all session resources, for six months after the event.
Sara Urbanik joined the O.P. + W.E. Edwards Foundation as Executive Director in January 2022. Sara graduated with her
Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood and Family
Communication from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. For
25 years she has worked in the nonprofit sector serving
children, families, caregivers and their communities. This
includes 10 years of experience with fundraising and grant
writing. Sara enjoys the outdoors, especially activities that
include spending time with her family and friends. It is Sara’s
mission to use her skills, talents, and abilities to positively
impact the communities she serves.
