FOUNDATION UPDATE

After 15 years with the OP and WE Edwards Foundation, the last 6 years as its executive director, Amy Hyfield is transitioning away from the foundation to become the Volunteer Coordinator at Red Lodge Fire Rescue, an organization for which she has volunteered for over a decade.

The foundation is pleased to introduce its incoming Executive Director, Sara Urbanik. Sara graduated with her B.A. in Early Childhood and Family Communication from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. For 25 years she has worked in the nonprofit sector serving children, families, caregivers and their communities. This includes 10 years of experience with fundraising and grant writing. Sara enjoys the outdoors, especially activities that include spending time with her family and friends. It is Sara’s mission to use her skills, talents, and abilities to positively impact the communities she serves.

Amy and Sara will be working together to pass on knowledge, connections, and mission for the next few weeks. Sara will take over, officially, as Executive Director on January 15th.
