The U.S. Census Bureau has started the selection process for various census positions in preparation for the 2020 Census.

According to a news release from the agency, these positions offer competitive pay, flexible hours, paid training, and weekly paychecks. Pay rates in the state are around $17 an hour and $19.50 in urban areas and workers will also have their mileage covered.

After the selection process occurs in January, paid training will occur in March and April. Actual enumeration of non-responding households throughout the nation begins in May through early July.
