Working in partnership with Montana State Fund and PayneWest Insurance, MNA is pleased to offer our members a workers’ compensation insurance program. All MNA nonprofit members are eligible for the program provided they meet minimum loss experience criteria. No additional premium is required to join.
PayneWest is MNA's provider of Commercial and General Liability Insurance for our members. With PayneWest, we work to strengthen existing insurance programs and continue researching new business insurance programs to increase competition and provide specialized insurance opportunities for nonprofits.

Instead of paying the state unemployment tax, 501(c)(3) organizations can opt out and elect to reimburse the state (become a reimbursable entity) for validated claims paid to former employees. This often translates to savings of 40% to 60% of unemployment costs.
MNA offers both comprehensive Nonprofit Executive Liability Insurance, which provides broad coverage and the ability to lock in rates for two years, and Small Organization Nonprofit Liability Insurance coverage designed for organizations that have not had Director's and Officer's coverage before.
