MNA is pleased to welcome Kate Arpin to our team as our Digital Platforms Specialist. Kate is a fifth generation Montanan who grew up in Twin Bridges, and now lives in Troy, Montana. She holds an English degree from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, and has been working in Montana’s nonprofit and local government sector for almost a decade.
Most recently, Kate was the Communications Director for the Montana Association of Conservation Districts, where among other things she was responsible for a technology services program for local conservation districts. She has also worked as a freelance web and graphic designer, serving small business and nonprofit clients.
Kate is a community leader who brings extensive experience both working for and serving on nonprofit and local government boards. She is currently a member of the Lincoln County Planning Board, the Troy City Planning Board, Kootenai Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity, and the Troy Broadband Task Force, which recently celebrated success in bringing the fastest internet in the state of Montana to Troy.
Outside of work and community service, she is a serial crafter/maker, loves working in her perennial flower garden, and exploring the mountains of Northwest Montana with her husband and son.
